INPDAP

INPS Management of former INPDAP

INPDAP is the National Institute of Welfare and Assistance for Employees of the Public Administration .

Let’s find out together the functions, the history, the merger with the INPS of 2012 and the various services that have now been transferred to the new management

What is INPDAP?

This institution remained in service for a limited period of time; its activity lasted from the year 1994 to the year 2011.

During the following year, in fact, the services and tasks of the INPDAP passed into the hands of another body, known as INPS – Management of Public Employees.

Since 2012, therefore, the previous company has been suppressed.

This merger also involved the offices which, following the ‘Salva Italia’ Legislative Decree, were resized and often joined to the already existing INPS offices. Therefore, if needed, it is advisable to inquire in advance of the place where the new Public Employee Management is located.

INPDAP services

INPS Management of Public Employees (formerly INPDAP, from now on we will call it only INPS) offers numerous services in the economic field.

Among these we mention:

  1. Management and payment of pensions for civil servants;
  2. Management of TFS (End of Service Indemnity) and TFR (Employee Termination Indemnity) for public employees;
  3. Management and collection of contributions from public employees;
  4. Concession of social benefits for former INPDAP members and their children (e.g. scholarships, boarding school fees, hotel houses for pensioners…);
  5. Granting of mortgages and subsidized loans for public employees.

By clicking on the tabs below you can go to the specific sections of the various former INPDAP services and find out where they have been transferred to the INPS and if they have undergone any changes. In the following paragraphs we will talk about the ex INPDAP loans.

Ex INPDAP mortgages

Numerous funds are allocated by the INPS to fulfill the requests to open a mortgage loan in the building sector by public employees but also by retired former civil servants. Some of these mortgages can also reach high amounts with negligible interest rates, as in the case of INPDAP mortgages for renovation of the first home.

Ex INPDAP loans

For civil servants both in service and already retired, INPS offers loans at very advantageous rates. Whether they are long-term loans (from 5 years up) or short-term (about 1-4 years).

In the specific case of short-term loans, we are talking about small INPDAP loans which by their nature do not have very high amounts.

These loans are granted directly by the institution in question, drawing from the taxpayers’ Credit Fund, or they can be requested through banks or financial institutions affiliated with INPS.

Tables of INPS ex INPDAP loans

What is an INPDAP table?

These are summary tables by duration, installment, income that allow public/state employees in INPDAP administration to self-calculate in a simple and intuitive way the amount of loans that are disbursed directly by the institution.

This page shows the tables of INPDAP multi-year loans dating back to 2011. Although they no longer have any value, they are still very useful as a means of comparison if we want to make loan simulations.
